The charge for this is 3 for five minutes and 4 for 10 minutes. The free drop off point is on thorley lane next to the jetparks 1 car park and clearly signposted from the m56.

Terminal 2 drop off changes. Simply follow the signs to the terminal 1 departures which is past both. Please see terms and conditions of the free drop off area. From 15th july 2020 the terminal 2 upper forecourt will re open.

If you re simply dropping a loved one off there is a designated drop off point which will allow you to park for free just long enough to unload the luggage and say your goodbyes. From here passengers will be able to take a free and frequent shuttle bus to their terminal. There will be frequent shuttle buses with journey times ranging from five to seven minutes depending on the terminal you are travelling to. This means that you cannot stay longer than ten minutes and you cannot re enter the drop off area for at least 30 minutes otherwise you will be subject to a 25 re circulation fee.

Passengers who hold a valid blue badge will be able to access the forecourt areas free of charge for drop off only. Staying for longer than 10 minutes is not. On site multi storey parking around two minutes from the terminal will set you back around 70 for a week. There is no free pick up area available at manchester airport but you can also collect your friends and family from either the dedicated multi storey at each terminal or the arrivals car parks.
